    Leire is a seasoned wine enthusiast who has worked throughout the liquor industry for more than 10 years. Having humbly begun her career with the large chain stores Leili has held a range of positions in wine-focused retail and hospitality.

    Leire has her WSET Level II and this qualification, coupled with years in the wine & liquor retail game and great love of wine make her an excellent go-to team member for recommendations.

    Kate has been part of the team for several years now. Working as Assistant Manager at Potts Providore, she also worked at Paddington Fine Wines & Ben Buckler Cellars, we are happy to have her head up the team at our Darlo store.

    Stephen Harris | owner/manager | paddington fine wines

    Stephen Harris is a veteran of the wine industry with well over 20 years’ experience. Born into a wine industry family, he began his retail experience as a 4 year old on the floor at his father’s famous wine store 60 Darling St Balmain.

    Having worked in almost all facets of the industry Stephen returned to the retail side of the game in late 2016 with Darlinghurst Fine Wines. He has since created Neighbourhood Cellars encompassing Paddington Fine Wines, Bayswater Fine Wines, Potts Point Providore, The Spot Cellars, Ben Buckler Cellars & Neighbourhood Cellars Waverley.

    Stephen’s passion for wine is apparent when in conversation with him at one of his stores.

    jeff beresford | manager | the spot cellars

    Jeff comes from a big hospitality/retail and wine background plying his trade from Sydney to Cambridge, and Margaret River to London. He studied WSET Level 2 & 3 Awards in Cambridge and started his Diploma in WSET HQ in Bermondsey where he was taught by some of the most renowned Masters of Wine in the world.

    Having transferred his study to Ryde WSET, in his spare time when he is not studying wine, Jeff reads fiction or takes his two Rottweilers Frankie (the puppy) and Doug (the eleven yr old) to the beach for swims and digging.

    Ryan has been a manger and licensee of other bottle shops prior to joining our team when we brought Ben Buckler Cellars into our group.

    His easy going, friendly manner makes him a favourite with the locals.

    Hamish Dalkin | Manager | Neighbourhood Cellars Waverley

    Hamish relocated to Sydney from Melbourne in 2017 to assist us with opening our Paddington store. While managing there, Hamish learned all he needed to know to open his own store, and early in 2021, opened The Spot Cellars.

    With an infectious sense of humour, a deep passion for wine & liquor, and a warmth & love of customer service, Hamish has become well-loved by regulars in all of the stores in the Neighbourhood Cellars group that he was worked at.
